EVERYBODY SHOULD READ THIS!!!!!!!!!REBLOG…IT CAN SAVE A LIFE OR TWO!!!WARNING: Some knew about the red light on cars, but not Dialing 112.An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren’s parents have always told her to never pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called, 112 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren’t, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way. Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.I never knew about the 112 Cell Phone feature. I tried it on my AT&T phone & it said, “Dialing Emergency Number.”Especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going on to a safe place.*Speaking to a service representative at Bell Mobility confirmed that 112 was a direct link to State trooper info. So, now it’s your turn to let your friends know about “Dialing, 112”You may want to send this to every Man, Woman & Youngster you know; it may well save a life. This applies to ALL 50 statesPLEASE PASS ALONG TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY, IT CAN SAVE A LIFE….

A five year old at the gas station said he liked my “bat woman” tattoo excitedly. His father condescendingly asked how many I had. I told him I had 11. He scoffed and asked how waiting tables all my life sounded and I said, “it’s alright on the weekends, but throughout the week I’m your son’s teacher.” He walked out without another word.

Hack/Slash - Cassie Hack. Fave female character ever? probably. What it’s about Current ongoing series.

Nextwave - 3 of the main protagonists are badass females. What it’s about

Y: The last man - The main character might be a male (and his monkey) but 99.99% of the other characters are female because all the males died. Agent 355 is badass as fuck.

Rat Queens - You want one cool female lead? How about 4? This modern spin on an old school genre is a violent monster-killing epic that is like Buffy meets Tank Girl in a Lord of the Rings world on crack! This is an ongoing series.

Saga - Alana is one of the main protagonists in this sci-fi space opera epic. She kicks butt. And so does her mother in law and teenage ghost babysitter. Current ongoing series.

Sex Criminals - When suzie has sex time stops. Butt stuff. Current ongoing series.

American Vampire - Pearl jones is a struggling actress in 1920’s america but then she gets a bad case of vampirism and becomes an AMERICAN VAMPIRE. Current ongoing series.

Global Frequency - Miranda Jones runs a network of 1001 people who can be called upon at any time to save the world. And Aleph her tech person is awesome as well.

Anna Mercury - Anna travels between parallel worlds and kicks arse.

There’s also current Marvel titles Ms. Marvel, Elektra and She-Hulk which are really good. Storm is getting a series soon as well. Should be awesome.

Feel free to add your own.
Also.. i find it funny that i can like all of these female characters but can still be called a misogynist because i say i’m not a fan of black widow.

Tangible Media

MIT’s Tangible Media is coming along nicely,

"Almost like a table of living clay, the inFORM is a surface that three-dimensionally changes shape, allowing users to not only interact with digital content in meatspace, but even hold hands with a person hundreds of miles away. And that’s only the beginning."

My dad just came into my room and shouted at me in Klingon.

Am I more embarrassed that he did that or that I know he said I was a disappointment to the empire?

You should be most embarrassed that you’re a disappointment to the empire.
